Cooperative Extension Scholarship Opportunity *including* Pre-Conference, September 24!

All Extension agents interested in registering for the Pre and/or full Carolina Meat Conference free of charge must fill out the Cooperative Extension scholarship form by July 10, 2017.  A limited number of full scholarship opportunities for all Cooperative Extension agents, specialist, and/or affiliates to attend the Pre and/or Full Conference are provided by the NC Cooperative Extension Animal Agriculture Program Team AND the Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) Program.  Scholarship priority will be given to those attending BOTH the pre and full conference, though attending both is not required for scholarship support. Applications submitted after July 10 will be considered as funds permit.

Farmers/Ranchers: Full and Partial Scholarship Opportunity (SCHOLARSHIP FULL!!)

A limited number of full and partial scholarship opportunities for eligible applicants (farmers/ranchers) are provided by the Southern Risk Management and Education Center (SRMEC).  Need-based farmers and beginning meat farmers/ranchers will be given priority, but all are welcome to apply.  Applications submitted after July 10 will be considered as funds permit.

FACT is offering livestock and poultry farmers scholarships of up to $100 to livestock and poultry farmers to attend the Carolina Meat Conference.

A limited number of full and partial scholarship opportunities for eligible applicants (farmers/ranchers) are provided by the 11th Hour Project.  Scholarships are awarded to need-based farmers only (priority given to people of color, women, and under-represented farmers). Applications will be considered on a first come-first served basis, as funds permit.
